Walk tall, kick ass, learn to speak Arabic, love music, and never forget that you come from a long line of truth seekers, lovers, & warriors.

pete carroll
A spectacular profile from 2008. A fortuitous though belated discovery on my part, it should be required reading for college football fans.

this is where our ideas live
we're wade and michael. we're seniors in high school. it's not fun. we're often frustrated and bored. so this is what we're choosing to do in our spare time. it's funner? we hope so.
both of us have our writer side, so there will be that. both of us spend a lot of time on the internet, so there will be that. we're readers, thinkers, and all sorts of other things that might come out in this space. we want to be able to just throw out whatever we can and see what sticks, if anything.
we promise that when we write, it won't be self-involved. when we link, it will be interesting. when we quote, it will be worth considering. when we rant, it will possibly have redeeming value. anybody who chooses to spend time here deserves to be entertained. and if not many people do, then we need to be able to look back and entertain ourselves. so we'll use our best judgment and make good calls (whoa!) on what's worth publishing.
stop by regularly, look around, submit maybe. it's a good call. period.

Blakroc - "Dollaz and Sense"
Blakroc is a collaboration between blues-rock duo the Black Keys and a slew of hip-hop artists including about half of the Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def, and Ludacris. It is badass.
